Martin's accepts orders for same day delivery up until noon every day but Sunday. Same day delivery is still possible after noon, but Rush and Direct delivery fees apply. Rush delivery means that the order will be delivered within the next 3 hours (plus assembly time). Direct delivery is within 2 hours. The Standard delivery fee is $12.95, and guarantees delivery between 9 and 5:30 on the requested date.

We will take every step possible to accomodate timed requests, especially for sympathy flowers to be delivered to a funeral home. We know that sometimes people don't get the obituary notice right away. Years of practice have taught us how to get things done right, at the right time.

Martin's, the Flower People are members of the FTD and Interflora networks. Deliveries for Europe, Asia, South America, Central America, Africa and Australia will be delivered 1-2 business days after the order is placed. Deliveries to the US can be the same day or the next business day. You may order online for Canada or US delivery, but we would ask you to phone in your order if it is to be delivered overseas. Orders to countries other than Canada and the U.S. are subject to a $20 relay fee and $7.95 delivery fee for the delivering florist.

Typically, orders going to a business address will be delivered first every day, followed by residential deliveries. Funeral orders will be given highest priority. Orders being delivered to cemeteries may be subject to an additional fee as ordered by the cemetery.

Customers who request Direct or Rush service will be given priority service. Orders are guaranteed to be delivered within the promised time limit, beginning at 9AM and ending at 5:30 PM. Same-day orders must allow for up to 30 minutes processing time in addition to the guaranteed delivery window. Advance orders have no processing delay, and the delivery window begins at 9AM of the delivery date. Orders placed after 5PM will fall into the next day's delivery time period. During holiday periods (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas) and episodes of inclement weather the delivery timeframe may be extended up to 2 hours if the courier service is experiencing unusually high volume.

If the recipient is not home, the parcel will be left with a neighbour, and the recipient notified. In the case of an incorrect or incomplete address, resulting in a second delivery attempt, the customer will be billed for the second delivery. If there is some concern that the recipient may not be home, we will phone ahead and arrange a delivery time - this is by request only.

Sunday delivery is available only if the order is placed before 2 pm on Saturday. If there is a funeral visitation on a Sunday, normally the flowers will be delivered in the late afternoon Saturday. We can be flexible with delivery times for weddings and parties, and deliver as needed.
