Walking through High Park Monday night, I found crowds of people enjoying the cherry blossoms. They are just beautiful!
With the sun just setting, photographers were finding opportunities for some lovely images. One young lady had her arms wrapped around the tree trunk as the sun shone in her face and reflected through the cherry blossoms. It’s such a brief time – only 5 or 6 days – that the blossoms are out.
To celebrate the season, Susan created a Cherry Blossom Celebration window. We have some unique, hand-painted glassware with painted pink cherry blossoms. The artist is Arian, from Elmvale, Ontario. Here are some photos of the window display.
