My Fair Lady – A Mothers’ Day Gift

Our Mothers’ Day collection had to have something pink and pretty. Our designers scoured the magazines, suppliers’ websites and gift shows to find just the right containers. Samples were ordered and tested. Flowers were tried in different combinations. Finally, the two finished products were chosen to be photographed.

Here is My Fair Lady 1:

The container is a pretty blue/gray ceramic dish with a raised damask pattern and a slightly distressed finish. The floral design is a pleasing, traditional shape, suitable to set on just about any table. But the choice of flowers and the positioning of them is more modern. There are hydrangea, roses, lysianthus, alstroemeria and waxflower, alongwith variegated pittosporum.

And here is the smaller version, My Fair Lady 2:

This one is designed in a votive candle holder. The holder is painted metal, and inside are two square cups, just the right size for votive candles. Our designers have created two sweet clusters of tulips, roses, lysianthus and waxflower and popped them into the cups. It is feminine and fancy!
