The Junction neighbourhood just keeps getting better. Last weekend’s Arts Festival brought in lots of people from the surrounding area and even from out of town. Although the weather was not perfect, the cloudy days meant no sunburns!
Here is a photo of our sidewalk display, featuring fresh, Ontario-grown orange lilies:
On Sunday, the lilies were more open:
Orange was the theme, as we also featured orange gerbera in the store:
It was really hard to stay inside the shop with so much going on outside:
Our newest neighbour, Ice Cream Junction, sold an amazing amount of ice cream. Well, it is Kawartha Dairy – everyone seems to know that name!
We enjoyed the students of High Park Martial Arts demonstrating their skills on the street:
And don’t we wish we could have crowds like this every day:
All in all, a great weekend. It’s kind of quiet around here this Monday, though:)
