Flowers for a Bride in 1937

We received a lovely email last week. A customer ordered a flower arrangement for her deceased grandmother, who was 100 years old. After a full and generous life, Evelyn Clark was resting at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel.

What made this touching for us was the email from her granddaughter, noting that Martin’s had done her grandmother’s wedding flowers in 1937! Here is a photo:

Here is the link for Evelyn’s obituary in the Toronto Star. It sounds as though she was a wonderful woman. We are honoured to have been included in two significant dates in her life.
