Moms can be the most practical people in the world. This arrangement for Mother’s Day is full of practicality!
It’s pretty and bright. It’s stylish and unusual. It has a living ivy plant that will continue to grow. And it’s designed in four cute pots on a keepsake tray.
Our first version of the arrangement was just green and purple. That was a very popular combination last year in our Reverie design. This year we added yellow for a little more punch. Maybe it’s because of all the rain we’ve had this spring, but our eyes seem to crave yellow – the colour of daffodils, forsythia and the sun itself. Have you noticed the same thing?
Now here is the junior version of Panache:
Here again we are using yellow roses, yellow freesia, purple lysianthus and green chrysanthemums. This time instead of the button mums, we have a couple Anastasia mums. Green hypericum berries add texture. A little touch of Dusty Miller and a grouping of blue-grey limonium link to the basket. It’s a little hard to see in the photo, but the basket has a “Fleurs” sign on the front. Mom can use the basket for any 4″ diameter plant pot after the flowers are finished.
So whether you send her the tray or the basket, you’re saying “Happy Mother’s Day” avec panache!
