Heintzman Place is a new condo development near Dundas and Keele. Older residents will know it as the former Canadian Tire site. There are two buildings, tall and stylish. Framed prints of Junction history abound in the lobby areas.
The two lobbies are tastefully decorated with stone and wood. Here’s one photo:
We were asked by the Condo Directors to decorate the lobbies for Christmas. Here is a picture of the same mirror and table with two poinsettias added. Tall silver branches pick up the shining finish.
Looks warmer already, doesn’t it?
There is a fireplace in each lobby. We created garlands for each one, with natural fresh greens, berries, silver branches and touches of red ribbon.
The mantels are very shallow and made of hewn stone. It was a little tricky finding a way to keep them in position!
A simple dark wood coffee table was transformed (is festivized a word?) with this centrepiece. It also has fresh, fragrant Christmas greens with red and silver accents.
The final touch? A co-ordinating arrangement for the Concierge’s reception desk.
