We have some fabulous fresh plants in the shop. Are you looking for a living, growing, air-cleaning addition to your home?
Some of these plants are listed in our article on Plants that Clean the Air. In the photo you can see a Boston fern, Yucca, Phoenix Roebellini palm, Limelight Dracaena and Aglaomena Silver Queen (Chinese evergreen).
On the other side of the store is a table with smaller plants.
On the far right are a couple of ZZ plants. They are slow-growing and very hardy, with an interesting geometric shape. There are a few bromeliads with red blooms, and some planters in baskets and tin containers. This table has been used at the shop since the early 1900s!
Now back to the other side, where a vintage dining table holds some succulents, air plants and gift items.
Our designers have planted some succulents in glass bowls with white stones at the base. They’re so cute! You can also see a China Doll plant in a white ceramic pot, some orchid plants, grapevine balls and nice vases. On the right, there is an air plant in a glass bowl hung in a hand-made macrame. Here’s a closer look at that:
On the left of this table is a small display of Peace Lilies (Spathaphyllum) and orchids.
There are a couple Aglaomena (Chinese Evergreen) plants, and a Lipstick plant in a hanging basket. Also you can see vases bound with rattan – pretty!
Since we updated our floor in the shop, we’ve been waiting for our contractor to install new wiring and walls and lighting. Our hope is that soon we can have photos of our new interior to show you!
