Prom Corsages and Hair Flowers

There’s a pretty trend in corsages for proms this year.

Our designers are using luxurious double-faced satin ribbon to tie the corsage on the wrist. This is instead of those old-fashioned velcro straps or lace stretchy elastic bands. Here’s a photo:

We used one fully open Vendella rose and manipulated the petals to reflex, and put a decorative gem in the centre. The rose is attached to the ribbon, ready to tie on the wrist. Isn’t that a beautiful look?

Here’s another idea. We used the exact rose and ribbon, and this time tied it in the hair. How pretty!

 

It may take a little time to position and tie the ribbon, but the effect is so sweet.
