Flower Arrangements for Mother’s Day

May 7, 2015 by Lynn Freeman

Every year, we print a flyer with a new selection of floral designs for Mother’s Day. Our designers spend hours planning and refining their ideas, selecting containers, flowers and colours that are on-trend and appealing to different tastes.

So it gives us great pleasure to introduce our Spring and Summer Selections for 2015!

We’ll start with bright pink, orange, green and blue. Have a look at this beauty, named Brilliant Butterflies:

Vivid colours in large rosebowl

We have used Topaz roses with bright orange gerbera, green mini hydrangea, large blue hydrangea and green Anastasia chrysanthemums. A little peach hypericum and looped greens add texture and interest. Then we have the piece-de-resistance… two jewelled butterflies to keep. It is all designed in a large glass bowl. It’s round, so suitable to place on any table. The price is $120 as shown, and $150 if you would like the Deluxe version with more flowers.

Our designers create these arrangements in pairs, using the same colour themes, with a larger and smaller option. Here is the “little sister” to Brilliant Butterflies:

Orange, hot pink and green flowers in blue vase

This design is named “Belle.” It’s so bright and pretty we named it after the hero of Beauty and the Beast:)

A vintage looking blue vase is tied with softly strong orange double sided satin ribbon (that’s a lot of adjectives!).  The large roses are High and Magic from Ecuador. Smaller spray roses in hot pink and orange add a punch of colour, along with green mini hydrangea and pink waxflower. A keepsake blue jewel hangs in the front of the bouquet. The price is $60.

Our next pair are in the peach and mint green colour theme. Here is the most luscious, named “Peach Mint Smoothie.”

Soft peaches and creams in a mint green bowl

Peach Versillia roses and peach hypericum are placed in a textured ceramic bowl and accented with fluffy white hydrangea. A touch of green hydrangea and variegated pittosporum are just the right accents. Overall the design measures 14″ wide and 13″ tall. The price is $100 as shown, or you can choose the Deluxe option for $135.

Now for the smaller version, Peach Parfait:

Peach gerbera, white roses in a mint glass hobnail jar

Isn’t that sweet? The Mondial roses will open fully and last well. Peach gerbera, white tulips and green hypericum complete the bouquet.  The container is a mint green hobnail glass jar – very trendy! This arrangement is priced at $55 as shown, or $85 as Deluxe.

And our third set is classic Mother’s Day colours, but quite unique designs.

The large bouquet is called Delicata:

Pink, mauve and white design in a white glass vase

The vase is quality Polish glass, solid and heavy. The flowers include puffy disbud chrysanthemums, garden roses, pink spray roses and a pink ranunculus. Dusty miller and seeded eucalyptus add silvery green accents, and mauve freesia add their lovely fragrance. Delicata is priced at $90, or choose the Deluxe option for $125.

Dolce is the smaller pink, mauve and white entry. It has those Maria Theresa garden roses as well:

Pink, mauve and white fragrant bouquet

The garden roses accompany white freesia, white carnations, a white chrysanthemum and mauve trachellium. Sweet looking and sweet scented! This sells for $65 as shown, or $85 for the Deluxe.

Now the choice is up to you – which one would your Mother or other loved one want to receive?
