We’re looking forward to the first Farm Fest in the Junction!
Do your children think that milk and eggs come from the grocery store? Have they ever seen a real goat or chicken? The Junction BIA is hosting a children’s educational event on July 23rd. Kids will be able to meet real Ontario farmers and see real Ontario animals.
Several food shops in the Junction sell unique local food products. This is their “show and tell” opportunity. There will be food samples, demonstrations and activities for the whole family. (We’re especially looking forward to sampling cheese from Junction Fromagerie.)
Live animals will be shown at the 11 Division Police station. Other activities will take place at the train station platform at Pacific and Dundas. The show will run from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday, July 23rd.
