Highlights from Canada Blooms

March 18, 2011 by Lynn Freeman

We paid a visit to the Canada Blooms show yesterday. What a breath of spring! The gardens were amazing… it only took a little imagination to picture yourself sitting in the sunshine in this peaceful place, with water flowing and plants growing and music playing… ah, can’t wait! But for us, the most important part […]

Art and Flowers at the Arts Festival

September 11, 2010 by Lynn Freeman

The Juction Arts Festival is back again this weekend, bigger and better than ever. We are amazed at how quiet the street is this morning, as traffic has been blocked from Runnymede to Keele, then from Keele to Indian Grove. That’s a serious walk, folks! There are vendors setting up on the road and restaurants […]

A Celebration of Cherry Blossoms

April 22, 2010 by Lynn Freeman

Walking through High Park Monday night, I found crowds of people enjoying the cherry blossoms. They are just beautiful! With the sun just setting, photographers were finding opportunities for some lovely images. One young lady had her arms wrapped around the tree trunk as the sun shone in her face and reflected through the cherry […]

Christmas Window #2 Photos

January 21, 2010 by Lynn Freeman

Here are a couple photos of our second Christmas window. The first window display was cosy and intimate. This one is wide open and fun. The shades of green and red were featured in our Jingle Bell Rock arrangements. Sparkles and glitter made it fun and funky.
